The client wanted to add a garage and workshop to their property at the base of the Colorado National Monument. As local business owners and new parents, they needed office space outside of their home as well as space for grandparents to stay when they come to visit. They were looking for a budget-conscious strategy that would give them the flexible space they were looking for.
I helped them establish their design goals by generating several massing studies and floor plan layouts. We eventually settled on a single story scheme that fit their program without overcomplicating the construction. The project should break ground in the Spring of 2024.
